Alert to our friends and fans: People Dancing at Concerts will be featured on the WNYC radio show “Soundcheck” around 2 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 15 to talk about (what else?) dancing at concerts.

We’re taking a short dance break today to remember America’s fallen soldiers. We’ll resume body-movin’ tomorrow.

Is it dancing if there’s absolutely no chance that you’ll spill the drink out your cup and you’re holding a conversation while you’re doing it? We’re on the fence about whether it’s really dancing, but we know there has to be some name for it.

Venezuelan pop-disco music has been proven to make everyone dance, even dudes you didn’t think could boogie. Oh yes, they can boogie. At the right time in the right place with the right Venezuelan pop-disco music, they will boogie until your eyes fall out from all the watching you will be doing. Watch your eyes.
